Director of Social Media Strategy
POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate should be extremely well versed in social media, and also have strong knowledge of digital and mobile marketing as well as online and offline advertising, and be adept at weaving them together into a cohesive and cost effective strategy that meets existing and prospective client’s business goals. The Director of Social Media Strategy should have experience conceiving creative ideas for leading consumer brand, be an expert in social trends, and comfortable with emerging technology. This position will work closely with our Account Management, Social Marketing, and Business Development teams to support project based and retainer clients as well as new business prospects. The Director of Social Media Strategy will be a key player in researching and developing social strategies and marketing plans. They will also be responsible for implementing consulting services as the social media industry rapidly evolves. This includes identifying and screening new technology vendors and content partners to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation and value for our clients. This position reports to the VP of Strategy & Innovation and is based out of our Los Angeles office. Approximately 10-30% of time may be spent travelling both domestically and internationally from time to time.
